Information about Sorority Recruitment 2023:

This year, Sorority Recruitment will take place during the week of Sunday,
September 10 - Saturday, September 16th.

Throughout the week, Delta Zeta, Phi Mu and Zeta Tau Alpha will host a variety of events that you can attend to meet their members, get to know their organizations and have fun!

You will choose which events from each chapter (and how many) you would like to attend. You will create your own schedule based on your availability throughout the week!

While you are invited to participate in any number of the different recruitment events during the week, if you would like to be eligible to receive a bid (an invitation to membership) at the end of the week, you will need to have attended at least one event from each of the three chapters by September 15th.

If you have attended at least one event hosted by each of the three sororities, you are eligible to be invited to UP TO two invite-only events from diffferent chapters on September 16th. Later that day, if extended a bid, you will have the opportunity celebrate Bid Day as you run home to your new sorority!

Please visit the USC Upstate Sorority Recruitment Information page for the list of events that you can attend and to RSVP for the events that you would like to attend.

PNM Orientation: Date TBA, 6pm - 7:30pm, Tukey Theater (Library) (Optional, but recommended event)

Open Chapter Events: Please see the USC Upstate Sorority Recruitment Information page.

Preference (Invite Only Events): Saturday, September 16th, 9am - 1pm (please keep your entire day free)

Bid Day: Saturday, September 16th, 5pm - 7pm

To complete registration you will need:

  • A clear photo of your face so that the chapters can recognize you as they are making their decisions
  • A copy (or screenshot) of your most recent academic transcript* (ie. if you graduated high school in May/June 2022, your transcript must be dated for that month so that your most recent grades are posted). Please make sure that your full name is able to be seen on the transcript and that your social security number (if listed for any reason) has been redacted.

* Please note the following:

    • A minimum GPA of 2.7 is highly encouraged when participating in Panhellenic Recruitment as anything lower can affect your chances of receiving an invitation to subsequent events in the process.
